Small animal imaging - PIPE

Aim of PIPE (Preclinical Imaging Platform Erlangen) is to provide scientists and research groups of the Friedrich-Alexander University as well as external cooperation partners with multimodal small animal imaging methods. Integrating several non-invasive imaging techniques in close proximity is the prerequisite for state-of-the art imaging research. With PIPE, specific small animal imaging devices including the modalities MRI (7 Tesla ClinScan, Bruker), CT, PET and SPECT (hybrid imager Inveon, Siemens) may be offered for in vivo and ex vivo examinations.
